Once you’ve passed through the gates of Château La Lagune, it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by this marvellous chartreuse, with its 18th-century neoclassical architecture.

The buildings are arranged around two courtyards: the rectangular Cour d’Honneur, bordered by the chartreuse and its two wings, and the Cour Caroline, bordered by the former vat room and cellars. The ensemble is extended by a large park.
Each room exudes comfort and refinement, bathed in the opulence and elegance of the ‘grande bourgeoisie bordelaise’ style. Family fabrics and furnishings set the tone for the different rooms, and the chartreuse has three magnificent bedrooms.
